Scholarships

The Department of Fisheries has two funds where one for the excellent academicperformance at graduate level and another for postgraduate (MS) level. The funds wereinitiated and financed by the Honorary Professor and the founder of the DepartmentProfessor Mohammed Shafi and the fund for Undergraduate has been named after thename of the parents of Professor Shafi as ‘Amena Latif Memorial Trust Fund’ opened in2011 and for postgraduate as ‘Professor Mohammed Shafi Trust Fund’ opened in 2012.From both of the funds a certificate and financial support are provided in presence ofhonorable Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor and Treasurer along with the facultymembers of the Department at Vice Chancellor office every year.
